A recent addition to Polar's quality control process is the installation of 10 No. steel holding rigs. Each rig provides a solid and square platform in which a range of healthcare windows can be held securely in place using toggle clamps.
The rigs are used in the final stages of window fabrication which includes lock hardware operation, hardware set up and the application of an anti pick seal. The set up allows up to 10 No. windows to be worked on at any one time and ensures that a multi point quality control check is carried out prior to site delivery and final installation.
The image used shows Polar's Humber Secure windows, which incorporate a multi-positional locking system and removable mesh.
